Introduction

This pre-training assumes very little to no MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC) experience and starts off with a basic project, MCC setup and blink an LED. More experienced developers may find this first project trivial, but it's necessary to verify the software and hardware are installed and working prior to the on-site training.

From there, this training will expand through five more projects. Each project demonstrates a peripheral or feature within the 8-bit PIC MCU and how to develop code for it with the MCC.

These projects are presented in a self-paced format. You can stop and return at any time to complete these projects:

  1. Digital Output (Flash LED)
  2. Digital Input
  3. Analog Input
  4. Timer 0 - Delay Using Polling
  5. Pulse Width Modulation
  6. Timer 0 - Delay Using Interrupt

In the end, you will be ready to advance your skills using the MCC.
